Salt Lake CitySalt Lake City (SLC) is the capital city of Utah state. In the southwest region of the United States, it is found to be the largest city lying at the Northeastern Utah; nicknamed as the Cross Road to the West.  Salt Lake City is not only bordered by the Great Salt Lake, on the east side, but it also has the snowy peaks of the Wasatch Range.

The special thing about SLC is its snow, due to the four closest mountains as Alta is just 25 miles away. While Snowbird, Solitude, and Brighton are at a distance of thirty to forty-five minutes drive, SLC gets the driest and light snow in the state which is why it is called as “Greatest Snow on Earth” because it is best for skiing and snowboarding.

The Great Salt Lake:

Located near the University of Utah campus this museum is the home to more than 17,000 artifacts from around the globe. Utah Museum of Fine Arts is also known for the enchanting visual and cultural arts. It is located inside the University of Utah and opened for the visitors from early morning until the late evening.

The city had a reputation of a dull and religious town, but now the city is growing its reputation as a core point for outdoor enthusiasts. Due to its vast land diversity with shores of a salt lake to the snowy peaks of Wasatch Range, one can enjoy all the possible outdoor activities here.
