I took a one-day tour to Luray Caverns during my visit to DC, since I wanted to experience the Appalachians without the stress of renting a car. I was very pleased with the trip. Our guide, Galen, did his best to make the tour engaging and enjoyable. The timing of the stops and visits was well planned, and the small group of just four tourists created a very friendly atmosphere. The caverns themselves were stunning, especially Dream Lake. Nearby, there is a very interesting historical museum, which is included in the caverns ticket. On the way through the national park, we made several scenic stops at overlooks and even had the option of a short hike. The hike was a bit rocky and not suitable for everyone, but I liked it, and the view from the top was beautiful. The tour started at around 8:00 am and we arrived back in DC at about 5:40 pm. Overall, it was a very well-organized and enjoyable experience.

I enjoyed this trip and thanked my father for suggesting this company because I enjoyed a lot on this tour and the tour guide of this company shared all the useful information with the passengers.
