San Diego, the second biggest city of California does not get the recognition it deserves. Which is mainly due to lack of US flights directly to San Diego. The city is located miles far from the coast so it receives beautiful weathers and the coast lines shine throughout the day, making it a wonder place for tourists to enjoy. America's biggest urban central park is also located in San Diego, most famously known as Balboa Park. This 1200 acres park is the home to 15 museums which tourists can enjoy while they walk through old Spanish buildings. You can hire a Segway or and audio tour guide which can help you to understand the chemistry of the beautiful place. The famous museums include San Diego air and space museum or the San Diego natural history museum and many more interesting ones.

Balboa Park and the city around:
Balboa Park is not only about history. You can always go the zoo to enjoy the nature and animals. The zoo is the home to about 4000 animals, including the far largest population of giant pandas which everyone loves.

Most of San Diego is near the sea, which means more sailing. If you like to sail the waters or like to see water life, San Diego is the right place for you.

But if you really are the adventures type, you can try a trip on the stars and stripes usa-11 racing yatch. It is always a fun activity to take part in, you can also board a whale watching cruise, and you might get to glimpse the largest mammal living under the water. Due to the seaport is near to the city, you can get the taste of the famous lobsters from San Diego, there is also an abundance of restaurants surrounding the city, focusing on different cuisines. Make sure to get the taste of it before you leave the city.

Cabrillo National Monument:
At southern tip of Point Loma you will see Cabrillo National Monument. This is truly a historical place and unlike statue of liberty, you will see the statue that depicts Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo. Juan was first European explorer who arrived on Californian coast. This statue is truly mesmerizing and a great place to take photos and have fun with family. One can do hiking or bike riding at Bayside and Coastal Trails. Once there don’t forget to see the nearby famous Old Point Loma Lighthouse and San Diego's maritime which has its own unique military history.
