This trip was epic. Riding the cable cars with their ringing bells and vintage designs felt like we were going back in time and in style. Our next stop was Stanford, and the university is simply gorgeous. The campus has great architectural landmarks such as the Memorial chapel and Cantor Art Museum. The Hoover Tower was quite striking and provides a stunning view of the whole university and the Silicon Valley. Yosemite National Park was the last but definitely the best. The scenery from Glacier Point and Tunnel view was just too incredible to describe and we enjoyed hiking and river rafting in this truly iconic park. I would recommend this tour for anyone visiting the place for the first time. It is truly an amazing experience.
In three days, my family and I saw a lot. We enjoyed our trip. The guide became our friend in no time. There were slight issues while booking with golden bus tours. Everything else was just in place. We got to visit Stanford University and also a national park.
Riding the cable car lines was a novel experience, we got to soak up the beautiful Alcatraz and Silicon Valley view’s while at Stanford and learned a lot about technology. Our guide was very caring and knowledgeable and told us very intriguing and informative stories about Yosemite. The trip was worth every single penny.
Worst trip ever. The cable car line was too long and overcrowded, I could hardly get any car and when I did, I had to pay a whooping $6 for a one way ride. The Stanford tour was nothing to write home about. I was not able to hike at Yosemite due to heavy snows and our guide just kept talking and talking. I will try it one more time though.
I went on this trip with my 2 nieces and we had a delightful time. Booking was first and convenient thanks to the instant e-tickets. The buses were on time, the hotels were clean, the guides quite friendly and the trip was perfect. I would recommend this trip for families who love history and don’t mind using the trip as a platform to convince the kids to work hard in order to join the elitist and truly magnificent Stanford University.
The tour did exactly what it said it would, with no surprises. Staff was helpful when the transportation malfunctioned a bit. Sights were worth it. My only grumble is that, travelling alone, there was not even the option for 'yes I'm happy to share a twin/triple room with a stranger', so if anyone else had a ticket with that option, then we could reduce the price for ourselves
I was looking for a trip to one of the most prestigious educational institute of America and my friend recommended this tour to me. I am thankful to my friend and Golden Bus Tours for such a brilliantly managed tour to Stanford University. This tour would not have been possible without the guided they provided us. He was very kind and explained everything with clarity.
A great way to explore some of the most attractive sites in Francisco, California. I visited with my wife and we really loved the price, the place and the people. We made a lot of friends and plenty of memories. I would definitely put in a good word for Golden Bus and its tours to all my friends.
