Depart from the hotel after breakfast to visit the Palace of Versailles.

The Palace of the Dukes of Burgundy in Dijon is a historic building that once served as the palace of the Dukes of Burgundy. After breakfast, depart for Lucerne, a picturesque city located in the heart of Switzerland, renowned for its well-preserved medieval architecture, tranquil lakes, and spectacular mountains. Situated by Lake Lucerne and surrounded by Mount Pilatus and Rigi, the city offers a plethora of natural beauty and outdoor activities, attracting visitors from around the globe.

The Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke), a covered bridge built in the 14th century, is one of the oldest wooden bridges in the world. Adorned with a series of paintings depicting local history and legends, these artworks were damaged in a fire in 1993 but were later restored.

Milan Cathedral: Located in the center of Milan, the cathedral occupies the site of the old Church of Santa Maria Maggiore and is a symbol of the city. This cathedral is a masterpiece of Gothic architecture, characterized by its elegant and solemn style. Its construction began in 1386 and took several centuries to complete, finishing in 1965. St. Mark‘s Square: This is one of Venice‘s most famous squares and is considered the heart of the city. The square hosts St. Mark‘s Basilica and the Campanile, which are among Venice‘s most important religious and cultural landmarks.

Santa Maria del Fiore: The Florence Cathedral, known as Santa Maria del Fiore, is one of Florence‘s most famous buildings, renowned for its massive dome and magnificent façade. Visitors can climb the dome to get a panoramic view of the city.

In the evening, arrive in Pisa, famous for the Leaning Tower of Pisa, a white marble bell tower known worldwide for its noticeable tilt. The tower is part of the Pisa Cathedral, which, along with the tower, constitutes the Piazza dei Miracoli.

After breakfast, head to Cinque Terre, a coastal area on the western coast of Italy in the Liguria region, comprising five villages: Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore. The region is characterized by terraced hillsides, creating a picturesque landscape that seems almost magical.

After breakfast, proceed to Rome, the capital of Italy and one of the oldest cities in the world. Rome was the center of the Roman Empire, boasting a rich heritage of ancient culture and architecture. The city is famous for its spectacular ancient structures, including the Colosseum (Roman Amphitheater), the Circus Maximus, and the Roman Baths, exemplifying the engineering and architectural prowess of ancient Rome. Rome‘s many squares, such as the Spanish Steps and Piazza Navona, along with numerous fountains like the Trevi Fountain, add to the city‘s unique charm.

The Colosseum: One of the most iconic buildings of ancient Rome and the largest ancient amphitheater in the world, it was built between 70-80 AD by Emperor Vespasian and served as a venue for public spectacles, including gladiator contests, wild animal hunts, and reenactments of famous battles. These events provided entertainment and a social gathering place for the Roman people. The Colosseum is constructed of concrete and sandstone, with its exterior featuring three levels of arched entrances, each adorned with a different style of columns. Originally, a massive retractable awning covered the top, providing shade for spectators.

The Vatican: The Vatican City is the world‘s only independent city-state that serves as the spiritual and administrative center of the Roman Catholic Church. Located within Rome, it covers an area of approximately 44 hectares. One of the Vatican‘s most iconic structures is St. Peter‘s Basilica, one of the largest Catholic churches in the world, attracting countless pilgrims and visitors with its dome and sculptural art.

  The order of activities held during the tour is planned by the tour guide. So, it may be different from what is mentioned on the tour page. On fewer occasions, Tour Guide has to skip an attraction or few during the tour depending on weather, traffic, group interest or some other reason.

  Some attractions are seasonal. So, when they are closed they will be replaced with some other attraction.

  You can skip some optional activities during the tour and plan something on your own. Make sure that you coordinate with Tour guide and stay with the group with next activity. Please note you cannot stay on the bus if you skip some optional activity.

  These tours are conducted in a group. A group can have people of several cultures. We expect each person to coordinate with Tour guide to make sure things are on track.

  Tour display price is based on double occupancy. It is the price each person will pay if a group of two is traveling.

  There must be at least one passenger of 18 years for every booking made with GoldenBusTours. For Children between the age group of 2 to 14 years, a different price will be charged. Please refer to Child price on our pricing calendar. Child Age may vary between different bus operators. Maximum 4 people of any age can stay in 1 Room in the hotel. If the 5th person is infant you will be charged normally then with the second room as an expense.

  Activities are optional though, but each customer has to participate in 2 activities at least. No city pass allowed. Some attractions are mandatory. Each customer has to take part in them and have to pay for them in cash.
