Orange County – The Must Visit Tourist Attraction

Orange County, named after the large number of orange tree orchards that sprouted in the place, is one of the most highlighted places among the tourists in California.  Almost 3,010,232 people dwell here, making it a third-most populated county in California. The county also has many prominent tourist attractions, such as Disneyland and Knott’s Berry Farm, in its parameters.

The land of Orange County owes its origin to the “Age of Reptiles”, which was approximately 225 million years ago, however, it was established on 11th March 1889. It had lived through many civilizations, providing shelter to countless kinds of people.

Crystal Cove State Park: A wild blend of natural and artificial features, Crystal Cove State Park was founded in 1979. This 3,936-acre facility compromises of 3-miles of beaches and pools, 400-acres of bluffs, 2,400 acres of the canyon, and an underwater park. This state park greatly promotes physical activities and is very popular among mountain bikers, scuba divers, swimmers, and surfers. Hiking and camping are also practiced. Crystal Cove State Park provides shelter to a diversity of species of animals. 180 different species of birds are witnessed here including the Turkey Vulture, Ring Billed Gull, the House Sparrow, and the Mourning Dove. Twenty-six reptiles including salamanders, Southern Pacific rattlesnake, California King Snake, and Red Diamond Rattlesnake are viewed here.
